So I’ve been playing a bit more of the Open Beta, finishing the first area, Itacua. As always, playing on 4k, but this time I scaled the recording down to 2k for upload purposes.
The missions you will see are in order of the main missions:
Here I’ve recorded a bit of gameplay from For Honor. I joined the closed Beta a few weeks ago, and then back again this weekend for the open beta. I really enjoyed it, the Open Beta feels a bit more balanced during Duel, but 4v4 feels a bit less “well” balanced compared to the Closed Beta – might just be me, but that’s what I felt.
The Into and Tutorial:
And here is gameplay for Dominion, Duel and War Assets:
About the game: The bloodthirsty warlord Apollyon believes the people of the Knights, Vikings, and Samurai have grown weak and wants to create an age of all-out war through manipulation of each faction. To this end the perspectives of characters within each faction are shown as events are shaped, battles are waged, and agendas are created as Apollyon works to ensure continuous sparks of conflict between the Legion, the Warborn, and the Chosen.

Here I’ve recorded a bit of gameplay from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Wildlands. I joined the closed Beta this weekend and was thoroughly impressed by it – it runs smooth, it works well in 4K….. I’m looking forward to the release!
The game was recorded on a GTX 1080, 4k, using a very high preset.
About the game: The game is set in Bolivia, which has become increasingly unstable as the Santa Blanca drug cartel gains more power and influence to the point where Bolivia has become the world’s largest producer of cocaine. The rise in power of these drug cartels concerns the United States Government, as Santa Blanca’s influence has begun to spread beyond Bolivia. The last straw comes when a bomb targets the US embassy in La Paz and its intended target, DEA agent Ricky Sandoval, is kidnapped and tortured by Santa Blanca. As a result, the United States Army dispatches an elite special operations unit called “the Ghosts” to destroy the cartel and reveal the connection between Santa Blanca and the local government.
Did you enjoy the Closed Beta? Did you get your beta key?
Just playing a bit on Chapter 4 and seeing how the PS4 PRO can handle the 4k res. Sadly video capture on the PRO doesn’t go 4k…
Oh yes, and spoilers ahead.
The amazing people behind Ninja Gaiden have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Nioh.
Visually Nioh looks quite similar to Ninja Gaiden or Ominusha, which has always been quite nice. However, this time round gameplay is (very Souls-y) reliant on your stamina meter, ensuring that you keep a close watch on it as you plan your strike or dodge.
See for yourselves:
It does even have a bit of a Bloodborne feel to it, from a defense point of view, while at the same time following the aggressive play style of Dark Souls. Note that the UI and use of D-Pad also play homage to the Souls series.
It will be interesting to see how this game progresses over the next months, and how it’ll stand apart from the Souls series.
So tomorrow is the launch of The Division, the upcoming online open world third-person shooter role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Massive, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Annecy.
In anticipation of tomorrow’s launch, here are two amazing trailers released in the past days, to get you in the mood:
Are you looking forward to the game? I sure as Hell am 🙂
From Software, the makers of the Souls games, has revealed new gameplay footage from its highly anticipated PS4 Sgame Bloodborne at this weekend’s The Game Awards.
The new footage focuses heavily on the multiplayer component, which appears to be showing three-player co-op!
Plus, we also get to see a makeshift flamethrower made from a modified lantern in action!
Anyway, without much further ado: here is the footage:
